💊Medicines update: Co-codamol 30/500mg shortage

NHS Services have advised that there is currently a national shortage of Co‑Codamol 30/500. This shortage is expected to continue until June 2026.

The shortage is completely outside of the practice’s control and you do not need to contact the surgery. If you use co-codamol regularly, this will be reviewed by the GP and a suitable alternative will be provided when you next order.

We are sharing this notice because the shortage may soon receive media coverage, and we want to ensure our patients are informed in advance.
